To complete our semester of learning math, learning about math, and learning from teaching math to real children, we are going to a) write a final paper and b) create 1-minute presentations on our learning.

The paper should have the following sections

Introduction- what are you going to talk about, themes and 3 big ideas

3 Body sections-

In each section, describe an observation or small conversation from the learning from practice logs and respond to these prompts

Why is this learning important to me?
Conclusion- Putting all of the observations and conversations from the learning from practice logs together, what are your 3 biggest takeaways?
References- section with at least 5 readings from the semester

Review your learning from practice logs
Identify 3 learning from practice log experiences that are important to you

Identify what is the important point of the 3 chosen learning from practice logs
Use the 3 most important points from the learning from practice logs as the road map for your intro paragraph
Write body paragraph 1 using one of your chosen learning logs
Explain what happened in the observation or conversation

Explain what you learned about teaching, learning, or your future classroom

Repeat for body paragraphs 2 & 3
Start your conclusion paragraph by restating your roadmap from the introduction
Complete your conclusion paragraph by explaining how you will use your learning in your future classroom
