There are several important methods and techniques of sociological methods including, but not limited to, survey research, interviewing, demography, ethnography, and conversation analysis. This paper focuses on the application of these methods to a sociological issue of interest. This paper will be researched, written, and submitted in a collaborative manner. Students will work with a partner on the following topic: what factors impact the marital choices of second-generation immigrants?
